London Olympics 2012 Men's 200m butterfly Finals
This competition is known as the race that Micheal Phelps did not win. There has been a lot of ads regarding Phelps. However, it seems that the jumbo companies placed their bets on the wrong pony. I suppose it cannot be help. Micheal Phelps was too busy training his girlfriend to train for the Olympics. I smell love in the air. Well, I guess after racing for many years one does get bored. However, there was a lot ridding on this race. Still, he at least won the silver.
The race was dominated by Phelps most of the time. However, by the end he kinda got too confident or bored. He slowed down a bit too much. It was during this time that the South African Lecos went turbo. That Lecos really does deserve his victory. It was a lucky break to say the least. It really did look like Micheal Phelps had won. As a matter of fact, his family and team mates where celebrating, until the machine declared the Victor. It was a sour day for Team USA. Still, Lecos will go down in history as the guy who defeated Micheal Pelps in a swimming race.
Besides, that victory meant more for Lecos than for Phelps. Micheal Phelps has already become THE Micheal Phelps. There will be no other like him for years to come. This was Lecos turn to shine. I suppose the cruel fates took pity on Lecos. In any case, both Olympics Swimmers are 5 star worthy. They both deserve medals for working so hard to be the best butterflies in the world. Hehehehehe. That's more of an inside Cuban joke.
