Teresita Blanco Poems: Shame, 2 Fragments, I pray to God and Something I call a Sonnet
Shame is a shameful poem. Its about how you should not show yourself defiant. Meekness is how you survive. It is a very depressing poem. The fragment poems are just fragments. Nothing too far out there. The prayer poems is simple enough. Its just a prayer to God. The last is something I call a Sonnet. I really hate trying to write Sonnets. Nothing too far out there. In any case, my lovely poems deserve 5 stars rating.
Shame

Hide
your neck from giants.
Do not
show yourself defiant.
Bend
low, only then you’ll grow…
Grow
used to these chains,
Of shame.
Quiet
the screaming soul;
Let her
dance and die!
Of pain.
The
world will not change
For you.
It will
change for none.
It is
all set and done,
Now, be
gone!
Hide
your shame,
Quiet
the dying soul,
For she
screams “why” again!

I cannot
change this fate.
I must
live with this hate.
Open
forth the gate.
It is
checkmate.

Beneath
this grave
Lies my
true name.
Hiding
my shame,
The
one I crave!
I pray to God
by Teresita Blanco
by Teresita Blanco
I pray
to God
For an
escape,
I pray
for some fun,
To be
set and done,
For a
horrible end.
Free me
from this fate,
Help me
escape,
To live
beyond tomorrow,
Erase
this sorrow.
I pray
to you again,
Please,
end this pain!
I pray
to you alone,
My God,
my only one!
Help me
escape,
Erase
this hate.
Something I call a sonnet

Return
to simpler times,
The
times without lies.
Rise
above today,
Find
yourself a new way.
Forget
now your pain.
There is
nothing left to gain.
All is
lost, forgotten!
The
apple has rotten.
Look
past your sorrow,
Awaken
in good morrow.
Only
then you’ll see.
Only
then you’ll be.
