I put my money on Akira TV. It seems that after many years, they made Akira the OVA into an anime show. By now, we are all familiar with Akira. However, the anime show is simply going to be a longer, bloodier version of the movie. Once again, we see the anime show about the psychic boy named Akira. All living in Neo Tokyo are after his Psychic powers. His powers are so strong that he has to be held in cryo-stasis. Meaning, that he has to be kept inside a freezer.





In the middle, we have Shotaro Kaneda. He is the leader of the Capsule gang. His best friend,Tetsuo Shima,  was kidnapped by the government. One day, he was ridding his bike when a runaway Esper psychic, kid blocked his path. His encounter with the Esper awoke his psychic powers. He shares a bond with Akira. The Government hopes to use Tetsuo as medium to use Akira's powers. The rest you guys already know.

The Akira TV follows the story line of the Akira manga. I guess you can get a longer anime show from six volumes. Its a wonder why they waited so long to make an Akira anime show. I guess it is hard to outdo the amassing Akira film. In any case, both Akira TV and Akira the OVA are 5 stars worthy. We already know what to expects. All that is left is to sit back and enjoy the show.
