If you ask me, sword sports are the best. They are closer to the original Olympic games. As for me, I truly do love fencing. It seems that all the best Fencers are Italians this year. The bronze has already been decided. Now, the Gold Match between Elisa Di Francisca vs A. Errigo. At this moment, Di Francisca is leading for one point. She is advancing slowly toward her comrade in arms. Both are measuring each other. The gold match is quite low scoring. They are really measuring each other. Its been 1 to 2 for the last 40 seconds. These are the pros, the best of the best. Its hard to fight someone who knows all your moves.

They are each giving soft strokes. Slowly... Errigo seems to be afraid of Di Francisca. In the past games, Errigo has sported some offensive fencing skills. Press for time, Errigo continues on the offensive. Only 15 seconds remain and they are tied 11 to 11, final round. Now, sudden death. After one second, Di Francisca takes the Gold Home. What an amassing battle. Truly majestic. I knew that Di Francisca was going to take the Gold. I knew it after she was able to defeat that Asian tigress (reference to the Five Asian Tigers of Economics) from South Korea. Truly, Elisa Di Francisca deserves 5 stars rating. She deserves her gold medal.
