C: The Money of Soul and the Possibility of Control: Assets, Future, credit cards, Black Money, Golden Eye and Bankruptcy
There are a lot of odd things about the anime show called The Money of Soul and the Possibility of Control. So I taught I should take a shot at explaining some of the key concepts of this anime show. The first thing that strikes one as odd is the shape of the credit card. The card of Yoga Kimimaro (aka the main character) has a Jewish star. Originally, the Jewish star was a Zoroastrian, so in this case you should not associate the Jewish star with the jews. The sun is also the Zoroastrian symbol of Gold. Hence, it is the logo for the bank of Midas. That symbolism is hard to intepret and I am trying to decide whether it is Jewish or not. Who knows? It might be both.
The money of the Midas bank is colored black because it was won by the suffering of others. The black money in itself is harmless to others, or so claims Masakaki, the must successful member of Midas. He claims to want to circulate the ill gotten money for the sake of japans. Despite his effort, Japan's terrible economic crisis has not improved at all. Anyhow, once a week each member is supposed to duel one another. I guess this is how they keep the money circulating. Plus, it is impossible in the real world for companies or assets not to clash with each other. After all money is not infinite.
For example, when two kids battle it out in The Financial district their futures are on the line. Terrible consequences happen for those that go bankrupt. usually they kill themselves by hanging or jumping off a train. The reason for this is that they lost their future. Their accept represents their future, so if they lose it they they basically have no future. And What does it mean to have not future? Well, just remember that only a dead man lacks a future.
The nature and form of the assets is another curious detail. To get the whole boring parts out the assets are personifications of a type of business. For example, the giant iron metal asset named Gig represents the raw material of iron. Iron is a solid investment (like the element) but fluctuations in the market can sen your busyness to hell. It is for this reason, iron is called a penny stock. Msyu on the other hand is a new business into the market. I have yet to figure out what business she represent. She is a spunky one like all new businesses, plus she knows far more about Deals than her investor Yoga. This is not something quite uncommon. Many a times, millionaires leave their money in more capable hands that triple their net worth.
The two most interesting assets are those belonging to Souichirou Mikuni and Jennifer Sato. Mikuni I suspect is a weapons asset. I think he is investing on war machinery because of the behavior of Q. Investing on weapons is an interesting business, even when it is inactive (or sleeping in Qs case) you still have to feed it money from time to time. After all without maintenance those missiles and airplanes become really unstable (and then we get tragedy) .I think that is the reason why Q is constantly being fed black money.
As for Jennifer's asset, hers is simple, her accept is in espionage. Just look at the way it moves, so tricky. For starters her asset is in the form of a giant wolf. Like the espionage business, it requires a huge investment (which explains why her loan was of 1,000,000 instead of the 500,0000 yens of Yoga). As for the shape, the wolf like the spies perfect for tracking and ambushes. This asset serves her purpose well which is just to observe and report. Another one of the neat sly tactics of her asset is the mist and the doppelganger trick. That worked beautifully in her debut in the anime show. Her wolf pretended to her in order for the enemy to get cocky and strike at her in the mist. this won her a swift victory. Yes, espionage is one solid investment and almost impossible to combat. Between these two god knows what sorta mayhem they have in store for the financial district.
Before I forget there are four things that still need to be explained. For starters what the hell is Masakaki? The way he behaves and acts reminds me of the devil. He is the only person that does not seem to participate in deals. Heck he is either the guide or the one pulling the strings. Either way he is an odd knowledgeable fellow. As for the golden eyes, well, that is the simplest thing to explain. these people only have an eye for the money and nothing else. it is for this reason, they can tell Midas money apart from the rest. The variation of "flation", is just a way of describing how much money you are putting into a type stunt or an attack. Oh and one final detail, at the start of all deals, the bid is of 666. This is the number of the devil that appears in Revelations. It is for this reason that I think that either Masakaki of Mikuni is the devil.
Hopefully this might have shed some light into such a bizarre 5 star worthy anime show.
