Dragon Age 2 Review

Ah, the second part of dragon Age. It seems that the first part was a one hit wonder. Nope, no armies to raise, no Flemeth to fight. Heck it is even lucky that anything interesting happened in that bloody game. Overall, it was like Dragon Age awakening. You had to choose between a crazy Lyrium possessed Paladin or a super cool looking mage that went bad in the end.




Over all there was only two things I found interesting. The first was the death of Hawke's mother and the second the battle with the Qunari. Aside from that all other events proved to be most dull. It simply seemed to be a never ending barrage of mini missions. Whats worse is that all those mini missions led you to your own demise. It was truly annoying to the head, and no fun at all. Plus, there were so many kidnapping and fighting knights and mages missions.

I only saw the dark spawn trice. I was hopping to raise an army or two to fight evil. But instead of raising an army in this game we fought armies. It was a bit fun battle wise. But storyline wise it was a mess. Nope, no good at all. If they make a dragon Age 3 I am certainly wont be buying it. Whats worse is that they used Flemeth to bring interest into the game. That old hag only showed up twice and no more. She was a cool old hag, nothing else needs to be said of her. It was a cheap shot to use the old hag to build gamer morale.

Overall, the game was about an artifact that drove a paladin insane who later drove the mages insane. This entire mess led to series of onslaughts in the city. Everyone died, the end. There were a few dragon battles here and there but aside from that the game was a bit boring. In conclusion, this game gets a -10 star rating. Tata
