Jules Verne's From the Earth To the moon

This story features the infamous leader gun club Barbicane, trying to create some exitement for bored gun club members. The end of the American civil war left hundreds of untested cannons in the dust. Thus, Barbicane sought a new target , The MOON. After some minnor mishaps caused by a crazed French diplomant, Barbicane, the leader of the Sheild club, and the French diplomant ended up creating a special bullet that would send all three safely to the moon and back. Enjoy this humourus satire of the Industrial Revolution and the advancement of science in the 19th century.
