Top Ten 5 star Worthy Anime Fights

The next blog I will discuss the ten battles that are in my opinion the best in anime history. These battles are unparalleled both in magnitude and in finest. Here you will not see any one sided battle. All the participants are on even ground more or less. I choose these battles for how visually awesome they are. They are both down to earth and far out.  The battles displayed here will be the be stone to one battles, the best giant robot battle, the best one sided battle and the best samurai battle. Anyhow without further ado I will give you the first battle.

10- Hellsing: Ceres Victoria vs The Psychic Nazi Vampire

This is in my opinion the best one sided anime battle of all  times. In this battle Ceres was battling inside the Hellsing compound the Nazi Psychic Vampire. She was slowly marching toward the inside. She used her powers to make a giant version of herself. This obviously was an illusion, but it had several parts of it that where very solid. It took Ceres some time but she was able to snipe the Nazi vampire.However it was too late, the compound was flooded. Eventually, Ceres came into contact with the Nazi vampire. She did her hocus pocus to force Ceres to watch a flashback of her mama being killed. While Ceres was dazed and confused, the Nazi grabbed her scythe and blinded Ceres. Afterward, she cut her arm off. The human guy she liked tried to save her but was killed. This caused her Alucard blood to Awaken. She grabbed the Nazi Vampire by her ugly mugged and gave her anew facial by rubbing her face against the wall. She then punched her to death with that special Alucard look.

What made this battle so special was that it was one sided from the very beginning. Ceres only had her guns and few humans to fight against the army of Nazi vampires. Her victory was won by discarding completely her humanity. The battle was a prolonged one and it was won lil by lil. If she had not awaken she would have completely died. For the unexpected victory Ceres Victoria has earned slot number 10.

9- Infinite Stratos: Laura Boldewin vs Ichika and Charles

In slot number nine is the best tournament anime battle in existence.This was the intra-class tournament in the Infinite Stratos Academy. Ichika of Japan along with Charles of France were to fight the duet of Laura x Houkin. At the start of the Battle Laura did not hesitate to shoot at her own partner houkin. She wanted to fight solo against the brother of Chifuyu her former teachers. Like all German units her IS had incredible strength and defense. The only opening Charles and Ichika had was when Laura attacked. Thus, by diverting her attention Charles and Ichika managed to defeat her. Though she lost the battle Laura would not accept it. Her unit had hidden nano tech. The power of her golden eye activated and this her IS unit consumed her. She became a ruthless automaton with twice the strength. That unit completely defeated Ichika .Charles transferred some of her energy to Ichika for him to try ignition boost.With the bit of energy he lacked the shield; all he had to work with was an arm and a sword. Thus in his human form he did a due or die attack that defeated Laura.

What set this battle apart from the rest was the brilliant strategy and team work of Charles and Ichika. It was also among the most interesting land based semi aerial battle in existence. They combined military strategies with traditional kendo tactics. By combining short ranged and mid weapons along with driller Laura was defeated. Another thing that was interesting was the one hit wonder done by Ichika. Had he missed Robo Laura would have crushed him into a fine paste. Emotion wise it was pretty interesting. Ichika wanted to defeat robo Laura because Chifuyu’s kendo style was programmed into it. Since he recognize the style of his sister he was able to strike Robo Laura.

8-bleach: Kenny vs Santa Teresa

When I say Santa Teresa I don’t mean the real Saint Teresa. No, but that would be an interesting fan fic. This battle is between Kenpachi Zaraki vs Esparda number five Nnoitra Gilga. Nnoitra prided himself in havingthe strongest shell. Kenny was having a hard time with him until he got used to Nnoitra. The problem was that Kenny had not fought a strong opponent in ages and so it took him a while to flex his muscles. During the battle Nnoitra took Kenny’s eye patch off in response to Kenny’s striking passing his zanpato through his eye. Eventually Nnoitra was forced to awaken his Santa Teresa. This Saint gave Nnoitra the power of extra arms. In addition to several scythes.Whenever Kenny would cut an arm he would regenerate. He won by trying out his kendo skills. He never fought with refinement so when he combined his raw power with the skills he learned from Captain Yamato he was able to slash Nnoitra in half. The trick was that he used both his hands to slash his opponent

This battle has earned slot number eight due to its sheer ferocity. The attacks where massive, the wounds brutal. Oh the humanity. The strategies performed by these two where simple and precise to the point. Truly this was among the best battles that I seen in all history. Both characters had the same fighting style. The both excel in the same direct brutal frontal attacks. The battle was decided by whoever could cause the most amount of damage to its opponent. Needless to say Kenny was the victor.

7- Bleach: Ichigo vs Ulquiorra Murcielago

The next awesome battle is between Ichigo and Ulquiorra’s mulcielago form. Ulquiorra had to awakened. In his murcielago form he had both speed and power and an incredible regenerative power. His most powerful attack was lanza del trueno. During the battle he plugged a whole in Ichigo’shear. This caused Ichigo’s hollow form to be completed. Ichigo’s body changed.He sprouted a tail, big fangs and his hair grew. He stilled used his zanpato.Sangetsu did not change at all. He inflicted terrible injuries on ulquiorra until he eventually he ran out of rechi to heal himself.

This battle won slot number seven due to the transformation of Ichigo. He turned a one sided battle around. Now he was the one on the offensive. This battle also rated higher for its cheer brutality. Never have I seen a main character abuse in such a terrible fashion his opponent (aside from Alucard). Not only did ichigo complete hollow form take terrible vengeance on Ulquiorra but he turned his terrible sword on both Uriu and Orihime. If it was not for Ulquiorra he would have killed both orihime and Ulquiorra. For being a berserk battle it was pretty decent.

6-Naruto Shinppuden: Sasuke vs Itachi The last Battle

Well supposedly Itachi was holding back. Also he was terrible injured by killer bee. In all respect Sasuke fought a half dead Itachi. Plus he was going blind as a bat. Anyhow, the first battle started with a glaring contest. Each tried to best the other in creating illusions. Still I think that in the first version Itachi really did take out Sasuke’s eyes, but that was far too brutal even for Japanese otakus so they turned it into a glaring contest.  Slowly this battle escalated until they broke the entire compound. During the battle Orochimaru came into the picture but he was subdued by Susano. If I had an eternity I would not have enough time to describe this battle.

Truly this battle was incredible in both intensity and variation. The emotional intensity was truly something else. What was neat was that both where on even terms. They kept each other in constant check. Susano was also a brilliant concept. I never imagined an eye jitsu to have a physical form that both attacked and defended. It was truly something else.

5-Claymore: claire vs Rigaldo

This battle took place after the claymore girls defeated the first wave of awaken being in pieta. During the second wave, Rigaldo got tired of seeing his troops losing and this decided to take manners into his own hands.He transformed into the coolest looking werewolf monster in all existence. He quickly started butchering all the claymore warriors. In the moment before he slaughtered Phantom Miria, Claire awoke completely her legs and obtained enough speed to give a surprise attack on Rigaldo. She cut his arm off. It was so cool the moments before she transformed. She thought as she saw things in slow motion “ in need more power, more power, more”. From then on Claire had to fight Rigaldo while getting accustomed to her new super speed. She kept using her claymore to change direction, otherwise she would bump into walls. She was likea shark fast forward but not around. Eventually she defeated Rigaldo by cutting him into lil pieces.

This battle earned spot five for its intensity. It was so freaking emotional the moment before Claire transformed. It showed that special moment when your senses are sharpening up. That last moment of desperation was truly sublime. She expressed the desperation of all weak warriors that see their comrades die. Like all weaklings she sought strength to save Miria. For over comingher weakness Claire has earned slot five.

4-Scryed : kazuma vs Ryohu final battle

The  next awesome battle is the final battle between Kazuma and Ryuho. They had this battle to get rid of all the spite that had developed through the entire show. In the first part of the battle Kazuma was able to punch the light out of Zetzue levelone. In response, Ryuho went to level two. In level two Zetsuei was able to gain fast speed. He used his tender fist which hurt like hell to cut Kazuma’salter hand. Kazuma using his alter powers disintegrated his severed hand and recreated it in its rightful location thus healing his terrible wound.Eventually they where forced to enter level 3. In that form Kazuma had the armor like a lion and Ryuho fought like a knight. Their speed and strength allowed them to battle it out in out of space. In the final form they crashed landed on earth. Their powers had seized to be and thus they resorted to fist fighting. Almost exhausted and half dead they summon up a small portion of their alter. Ryuho summon up a small blade and kazuma summon up a glove. They gave a final strike to each other. It was one final wonderful draw.

What made this battle so great is the contrast between Kazuma and Ryuho. One is fire and the other was ice. Kazuma does round about strikes that resemble the movements of flames. Ryuho was far more refined crisp and precise. Both had the same kind of intensity and desire to defeat each other.  Such intensity translated into an exiting battle. For the emotion and exaggeration this battle has earned slot number four.

3- Afro Samurai: Afro vs the Terminator

Well he did not really fight the terminator. Is just that robo Afro looked a lot like the terminator. In the first half of the battle Afro fought robo Afro in similar kendo style. However, when robo Afro began to lose he started using his gadgets. Eventually they took the battle to the sky. While Afro was falling from the air he fought back the deadly strikes from the terminator. Eventually Afro cut the terminator in half once he forced it to land.

What made this battle so great is the originality of the battle. I never in my life have  I seen a samurai fight a robot in the sky. It was so freaking raw. Plus the way he parried all the rockets thrown by the terminator was incredible. Originality wise it was sublime. Plus, the technological gap was interesting. Sword vs gun, jet pack vs free fall human vs machine. Truly the contrast was exquisite.

2- Advent Children: Sephiroth vs Cloud

In this battle Sephiroth and Cloud fought each other again.The techniques were quite varied. Cloud used more than one sword against Sephiroth.He had several blades combined into one and he switched from two gaint blades to one solid blade. Sephiroth kept parrying him off with his masamune. During the battle Cloud used several of the video game limit brakes. I think  I saw break blade (that resembles the wind scar) , Crowslash and braver. I think at a certain point cloud went berserk and tried an Omnyslash but this new sephiroth already knew the attack and thus parried all his overdrives. His final mistake was jumping up. Cloud had developed a new limit break. He severed his sword into five of seven and surrounded Sephiroth. He then did a super cool attack combo. This defeated Sephiroth though he went away in a cheesy epical fashion. Still it was pretty cool.

Over all this battle earned slot too for the shear speed and rapidity of all strikes. They also used the scenery in a very interactive fashion. All the buildings served as weapons for both thees anime warriors. What was best was the special effects of the clashing blades. That blade sparks was something else. What sad is that they did not add material magic. Well it would have been too much if they had choreograph not only a sword battle along with a magic battle. Still exaggeration and style wise was perfect. IT was truly a masterpiece of anime battles.

1- Naruto Shinpudden : Sasori vs Sakura and Lady Chio

The final battle best anime battle in the history is Sasorivs Sakura and Lady Chio. For starters Sakura could not get hit not even once.The entire body of Sasori was covered in poison. Once his true form was revealed he fought with a puppet that had the special metal sand of an ancient Kazekage. Lady Chio in response summoned the puppets that Sasori had first name, Daddy puppet and Mama puppet. They were a bit rudimentary but they worked, most of the time Lady Chio had to control not only the puppets but Sakura as well. Luckily Sakura had gotten a dodging training from Tsunade. She eventually was able to destroy this puppet. Yet, the final stage of Sasori was just too much. He summoned an army of puppets. Lady Chio used her 10 top puppets. Whenever they would brake one puppet like 50 would show up. In the English version he summon 100 but in the Japanese version it was 1000. Eventually,Sakura got a hold of Sasori and punched his lights out , when he was stunned Lady Chio used a special puppet that turned into a giant head with teeth. This giant head rammed against the main puppet. When he was disabled he took over another one of his puppets. Although he was finally put down by Mama puppet and Daddy puppet.

This battle was truly the best in my opinion. It is super hard to choreograph a huge battle with more than a 1000 or so monster running atone. The no getting hit condition was also pretty neat. Plus they had to dodge a lot. It was truly one sided and they managed to win in a most beautiful fashion. If you ask me its pretty easy to arrange a on on one battle. its another deal to work with like a 1000 and make it seem like all participants are involved. Truly this Naruto battle was just the best in all existence. So if you are a lover of battle these are the ones you must watch and observe. They serve as a prime example of what anime battles are suppose to be about.
