London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony

I sorta tuned in a little late to this Olympics closingceremony. It seems that they featured all the music artist from the British Invasion. The stadium was the shape of the British flag. The concert that I heard was the one of Freddy Mercury from Queens. Only the guitarist and the drummer are still alive. The singer for this concert was Jessy J. This maiden sang like a queen. They sang We will Rock you. That song was sang whenever any team started to win. I first heard it in a hockey game at my school. Anyhow, it was pretty cool.

Other than this song, the fireworks where pretty amassing. They looked wonderful from the inside. I saw a sky view of the stadium. It looked amassing all aglow with the fireworks. I must say that the ending was better than the beginning. However, what I really did like was the taste of Brazil section. You can always count on the Brazilians to throw one hell of a party. They have the most pleasant way of singing. Even their rap, sounds musical. They had a lot of fancy sights and wonder. The first thing that called my attention where a few morenas with Ferris wheel backs. They changed colors with the music.

At a certain point, a lovely maiden passed by. The skirts of her dress was made of umbrellas. They turned in a most mysterious fashion. Later, came some guys representing an Native tribe. Their hats and necklaces glowed green in the dark. Brazil wishes to show that it is an all embracing welcoming nation. They treat all equal. It is a wonder if they will have taken care of the favelas before the games. I hear they are building a big wall to hide the place. That still does not change the fact that they are all embracing. For anyone not living in a favela. Hehehehe! Don't mind me, I just love being sour from time to time.

After the weird mutant color Natives, a guy wearing light bots started rapping. A representation of Miss Universe also joined the party. Later, we saw some pretty cool Capoela. Later, came some tux guys with car boards. They made some pretty patterns. They left the floor in a wavy look. That pattern is like "La chica de Epanema". The crowning of the performance was a chance appearance of Pele. He is still considered to be the best Soccer player of all time.

Some other boring things followed. Nothing too 5 star worthy. Some dumb kids sang We Can Rule the World. That title was most unfortunate in my opinion. Coming from the British, this song makes them seem a bit colonialistic. Then again, I just did not like the song. They must be promoting this new band. I really will refuse to offer them a bit of limelight. Anyhow, the creme de la creme was the black cauldron turning into an egg. From this egg sprouted a phoenix. The Olympic lights then went out leaving the phoenix in its place. Well, at least the show ended pretty decently. Five stars for the US, the victor of the Olympics. Five stars for this last event.
