Poltergeist, ghouls and the playful spirit

Halloween is just around the comer and there has been an increase in phantom activity. This blog will offer some bit of useful information about which ghost types should one fear and how to banish ( or escape) from the dangerous ones. Well, if one wishes to get technical about their origins one might asume that a dead person is required for a ghost to exist. However, this is not always so.

The first kinds are a bit of an obscure reference. For example ,some one who is at the border of life and death has its ghost wonder around. Also, before the person dies its ghost appears in front of a family member ( this member is usually miles away from the dying person) . It is their unique way of saying goodbye before parting. But beware, if that ghost approaches you and speaks to you it is death in disguise marking off his next victim so never approach the eerie looking relative that one knows he is at another side of the world.

The next type of ghost is that of the Buddhist monks. They undergo a special training to awaken the infinite power of the soul and thus astro-project their  soul. One can recognize their presence by a distinct tinkling of a bell. At times, they go as far as to approach you and look under your blouse. These kind of pervy monks are those of the tantra Buddhism from the 16th century. They were so corrupt that they use their powers to seduce women. They never reached enlightenment and thus (after their body corrodes) they spend their time being super annoying peeping toms. This ones are exorcised by saying " Yama yama, take this pervy sage away".

The next ones are the American puritan priest poltergeist or the PPP Ghosts. They are endemic to America (meaning that one can only find them here). These kinds of ghost are  those of religious fanatics that did one of those suicidal rites and took to the netherworld their entire congregation. A perfect example of these types of ghouls is the pastor from Poltergeist 2 and crazy guy from The haunting. This ones cannot be exorcised in the traditional fashion ( ie holy water and a priest yelling the power of Christ compels you).One has to break their will and foil all their plans to scare you. Oh and FYI these ones can truly kill you so watch out.

Yep , Issen would be considered a nutty fanatic.

The next ones are the ancestral spirits. These ones willingly stay behind to help out family members. In the Roman culture it was common to worship the ancestors as if they were deities. This is also a common practice in China and japan. On  October 31st, the Mexicans gather together to feed their ancestors. In Cuba, ancestors are stored in bottles not in the cemetery (they are buried though...just their essence is kept in bottles ie. some hair or nails). In their worship, they summon the ancestors and obtain from them the natural abilities that dead used to have while they live. So you can use your grandma's book-smart if you store her essence in a bottle.Oh and before I forget ...saints and their relics also fall into this category.

The next kind are super dangerous even more so than the religious fanatical ghosts. Have any of you ever seen the grudge or then ring? Well, if you have then you know what I speak of...Still I suppose I could put it in simpler terms, what these movies tried to portray. How should I begin? Lest suppose that a obsessive compulsive person dies and then comes back as a ghost. Your with me so far? Then here comes some stupid idiot that sees this ghoul and fails to recognize that it is dead and not alive. Suppose that this idiot physically harms the ghost ...and kills it...again.

Well some people claim that one can only die once but you are wrong. Certain people have a super powerful spiritual body that can hold onto the real world in a semi-corporal manner. When an idiot comes along and kills the spiritual body the shadow (Tselem) of the disabled dead goes berserk. The Tselem or the little angel is in charge of protecting the human. The tselem is much more powerful on those that have a semi-corporal form and thus can act independently of the soul. This tselem cannot be reason with. It will recognize the living as the enemy of the disabled soul. Thus, it will attack all who get near the resting place of the fallen human soul. The only way to exorcise it is to find the main body and send it on its way. However, this is nearly impossible due to the interference of the Tselem.

The next ones (for the most part) are friendly to humans. This ones are the spirits of the animal kingdom, the woods and nature. When the Indians want to get close to nature they undergo a fasting ritual and thus converse with these spirits. They provide humans with a special insight or truth. They become evil and wicked (ie they send a bunch of hurricanes, tornado, earthquakes ect.) when humans start messing with their territory. Thus, Greenpeace should appeal to these forces in order to fight against BP and its oil spills.  

The last kind are what we Cubans call "Espiritu Burlon" (or the Naughty Spirit). These kinds of spirits inhabit just about any residential  home that had a child die within its walls. These baby ghost enjoy playing pranks such as misplacing your sandals or walking up and down the stairs to freak you out in the middle of the night ( based on true events from my life). They also appear in the form of fairies or play the role of what you ignorant adults call "imaginary friends". This ones should be treated kindly ...for they are after all the ghost of children.

I hope this has enlighten you on how the afterlife is supposed to function...or malfunction as the saying goes.
