I really do feel sad out of the blue. To be redoing this wiki again really does me terrible harm. So many hours wasted. But alas I will not cry any more for spilled milk. If you are here you must want information. I will use all my knowledge to try to convey to you the true meaning of anime action and violence in anime. Anime violence is the second most popular genre in anime. It contrives many popular subcategories such as supernatural, ninjas and samurais. What they all have in common is the terrible violence that permeates all episodes.




To make an action show you really do not need to think to deeply. All you require is a modus operatum and a wide variety of techniques. Among the most common excuses is a quest to save a lover. Other popular reasons includes revenge and war among clans. Another popular reason is to earn the approval of a clan or the world. This popular theme has been featured in such popular anime such as Afro Samurai and Naruto. Both these wierdoes seek to be number one warriors in their own unique environment.

The fighting style ranges from hand to hand to gun and other ballistic weapons. The most common fighting style is that of the samurai warrior. This art of fighting is purely Japanese. After he Meiji era, samurais were completely banded, however their art and their code of honor survived still survives in popular culture. Anime themed after samurais are noted by the pride and honor of their main characters. They chose to live frugal lives for the sake of their defending their country and their family.

On the opposite end, ninja shows holds within them a different set of social values. Before I continue down this path I must remind my readers that Japanese and their productions cannot help but be moralistic. In one way or another, the writer will try to express his of her own ideologies. In the world of the ninjas, they hold most highest cunning and deceit. Those that find the most roundabout way of doing things are held most highest. In this anime show, direct confrontation is highly discouraged. They are the thinking pots of anime. Ninjas will used any means available to avoid direct confrontation. These techniques include guerrillas warfare, ambushes, sneak attacks and at times diplomacy. They are quite notorious for their unique battle styles. Some of their styles borders around the surreal and the super human realm. 

The next branch of fighting anime shows are those dedicated to gunners. Basically is a guy with his gun shooting down monsters and bad guys. The plots and the setting sometimes resemble old western movies. All that matters is speed and accuracy. If you can manege these two attributes well then you can create a pretty decent gunner show. The last kinds are a variation of those I mention. With one or two supernatural occurrences action shows are just guns, swords and ninja stars.

One last thing I should mention is the huge emphasis placed on blood. To have a true action show you need the anime characters to bleed a lot. Without blood it is just  kids show. The more gory it is the higher its Action ranking. You cannot just have an anime character bleed due to merer chicken scratches. No you need severed limbs, broken bones and bleeding guts.
