The Man of Your Dream Tidus
And they say that the best man do not exists in this world. At least in FF10, that saying is true. This segment focuses on Tidus. He was a an athlete of blitzball whose home was destroyed by the evil transformed self of his father.
The Game itself starts in medias rex. In his perspective. However, there is a certain glitch about the storyline centering on his "faithful" dream. Here he finds out that he does not really exists. Real bummer don't cha think. Its a real drag, when that happens in a dream. That happen to me once. One of my dream characters found out he was a dream and then he would not let me wake up. Luckily, it was a Saturday and no one notice that I slept 14 hours.
Anyhow, back to Tidus. I like his jetch shot. It is cute how you have to wave away the laughing taunting voice of his father. He yells something like, " your out of your league" or " you can't do it kid" or my personal favorite " hahaha". Its a real hazard to wind the blitzball game without the Jetch shot. Truly blitzball its the best in the early levels. I always have a hard time beating the Luca Goers. One time, we went to overtime trice. Well, blitzball is a defining factor in the Tidus character.
This kid always has to live in the shadow of his father. In the dream world, he has to deal with his fame. In the real world, he has to deal with his fangs. By the gods. , Sin is one ugly draconian feign. I remember how one time I was fighting sin and his overdrive got all the way up. I got freaked out so then I put Yojimbo (bro always though he was Japanese equivalent of Gilgamesh) to block the attack. Yojimbo is a perfect choice considering his dodging powers. So then I said to my bro," don't worry Yojimbo will take the hit"... the end results, was a devastating game over. So note to self, do not let the sin's overdrive go all the way up.
I wonder whose sin , Sin represents. It might have been Yu Yevons' arrogant attempt at conquering Babel. It might be Babels' utter pride in wiping out the summoners. But if you ask me, sin represents the hatred and envy that Tidus feels toward his father.
He used to see his father as a monster, but his perspective changed as he traveled around with Yuna. In her world, Jetch was a hero not a zero. Then again, it must have been a tough childhood to have grown up with a father with drinking problems. In one episode, Tidus asked him to quit drinking but his response was ," why leave for today , what you can leave off till tomorrow". Yes, that is a sad reality many children have to live with.
Enough of Jetcht. Now, Auron... he seems to act more like Tidus father than his own father. Then again his story this, story that ... gives Auron the feel of being a grandfather. but truly there is not thing much to say about Auron's relationship to Tidus. He just seemed like the embodiment of the regretful old , who puts all his hopes in the future.
As for Yuna and Tidus, that was some odd relationship. Then again it is always the nerdy shy girl who falls heads over head for the football jockie. Shujin was a terrible idea. I frankly prefer to think that FFX-2 never came into the world.
In conclusion, the "death" or passing away of Tidus was simply sublime. He truly was the man of Yuna's dream. Ta ta and good bye folks.
