The above picture of the day is Merlin by Burnes Jones. In this painting Merlin lies prostrated , mesmerized by the beauty of this nymph. While he observes her, the forest is starting to wraps around her. While she stares back she is playing disdainfully with Merlin's spell book. It is truly quite the pretty looking image. I like the whole golden colors and the dark blues in the foreground to set the characters up at front. In any case, this painting of Jones deserves 5 stars.
