Israel Gaza Conflict Round 2
At times like this, I imagine that the Israel Gaza conflict is like a boxing match. A boxing match that never ends. They have taken a break from beating each other up. During time out, the Hamas has brought out their Ace in the Hole, aka the Arafat. In order to rekindle hatred against the Israeli, the Hamas plans to unearth the Arafat. The Arafat was the former ruler of Gaza. He was well liked among both parties. He kept something called peace for a few years. The Hamas believe that the Israelis poisoned the guy when he stopped playing nice. They wish to use his corpse as living proof that the Israelis are assassinating them.
I truly have no doubt that the Israeli are trying to kill them. That is what you would expect in a never ending arms conflict. When you have a fierce enemy that wants to kill you, it is childish to hold back pushes for fear of repercussions. This fight has been going on for ages. By now, both sides are fed up. The bad guys wish to ferment some suicide bombings. That is a classical tactic of their kind. As for the Isrealis, I have no doubt that they will return to poisoning the meals of the Hamas leaders. This so called "peace"did not even last a whole week.
Both sides are fed up, neither the Hamas nor the Israelis wish to give in. Why should they? There is a lot ridding on their Victory. The Israelis are backed by the west. They keep in check the entire Middle East. Also, the Jews living there are trying to defend their Promise Land. After 2000 years of exile, they finally got back Jerusalem. They are not going to loose so easily. Gaza represents the Middle East. The west fears that should they win, a new wave of Islamist extremism will arise. The Hamas are up to here with the West and the Jews in general. They remember how ,via the Muslim religion, they conquered many lands in the past. They think they will usher in a new Golden Age of Islam by defeating the Israelis. In a strange bizarre way, both the Hamas and Israelis imagine that God is on their side. As you can see, neither side is willing to lose. This is one serious mess!!
