CIA Sex Scandal: Romance Between David Petraeus and his biographer Paula Broadwell

Sex Scandal in the US has always been a hot topic. Now, the limelight of shame has fallen upon David Petraeus. Frankly, I had never heard of this super spy, until today . It makes me wonder about a few things about the CIA. Think about it, if the head guy cannot keep an affair a secret, its a wonder how he handles the US state secrets. Can you imagine writing the biography of a CIA guy? Think of it like this: 

"What did you do between 2001-2?" asks Mrs. Broadwell. 
"That information is classified!" responds David Petraeus. 
"What was the real reason for going to Iraq?" asks Mrs. Broadwell. 
"That information is classified!" responds David Petraeus. 
"How's your marriage?"
"Classified!" responds David Petraeus.  
"Do you think I am pretty?"  asks Mrs. Broadwell.
"Classified!" 
"My husband won't be back for an hour"asks Mrs. Broadwell, " Whatever do we do to pass the time?"
"Now, that is sensitive information" David Petraeus kisses Mrs. Broadwell. 
"I love you, Peaches!" responds Mrs. Broadwell. 

Well, I think that's  how it all went down. Its impossible to write a book on a guy whose liveliest adventures are classified. You know, if he was not a state official, we would not care that he cheated on his wife. I suppose I can't blame him. Did you see David Petraeus' wife? It is normal for an older man to seek more younger, livelier, tender flesh. 

When he was found out, he was forced to quit the organization to preserve the honor of the CIA. I think David Petraeus is acting a bit self righteous . We all know that the CIA does a lot of dirty things to preserve peace. Thus, leaving the CIA to preserve the honor of the CIA seems a bit pretensions. Frankly, honor is overrated and it never helped anyone. Then again, you've got to keep those Republicans happy. They've gotten rid of a lot of good politicians via sex scandals. Its the same thing that happened to Clinton. Man, he was the best president, ever!

 
Out of spite, David Petraeus revealed sensitive information. He said in Capital Hill, that Obama and the CIA, knew that the attacks on the Embassy was the work of Al Qaeda. He said they kept it a secret because they were trailing the bad guys. They did not want the bad guys to know that they were onto them. He claimed that it had nothing to do with Obama. He did not hide the information to help the president get Reelected. 

Frankly, I believe the guy. Presidents come and go, but super spies stay forever. Well, the Republicans do need excuses to discredit Obama. They responded to this by accusing the President and the CIA of coverup. I think its easy to critique them. However, the spy world is not a James Bond movie. Its hard work.     

Well, enough about that matter. When they asked David Petraeus if he regretted his affair he responded, "No".  I suppose it cannot be helped. We do not choose the people we love. Hahaha... I find it cute how she calls David Petraeus, Peaches. 

I suppose I should tell you how they found them out. The problem is that everyone has their own version of how this affair was uncovered. This is what I could piece together from all that I read about that incident. Basically, David Petraeus ended his affair with Mrs. Broadwell. He was being pressured by his CIA colleges.    

Annoyed, Mrs. Broadwell spoke to her friend Jill Kelley. It seems that Mrs. Broadwell wanted to kill David Petraeus and his wife. Worried, Kelley sent those emails to an FBI friend, James J. Wedick. Wedick took it upon himself to investigate this matter. Eventually, his investigation brought this whole affair to light. 

In another version, Kelly was Mrs. Broadwell's love rival. She sent the FBI after the pair to separate David Petraeus and Mrs. Broadwell. Whatever was her reasoning, David Petraeus' affair came to an end.
