Aerosmith Band Review

Aerosmith is an American Rock band.  Their lead singer is Steven Tyler. The other member worth mentioning is Joe Perry. Steven Tyler ,in the 60s, did like all the other hippies. He is clean now. Most rockers got clean after the 60s. Aside from his big mouth, Tyler is known for his super annoying harmonica. As Charlie Sheen puts it, “People only tolerate the harmonica just because Tyler is singing”.  As for Joe Perry, he likes collecting odd shaped guitars.  For a while he tried going solo. However, he came back crawling to Aerosmith. We all know that it is almost impossible to sing while playing the guitar.  I heard some of his solo songs. They are to die for, literary! 

Outside the world of music, Aerosmith tackled the world of Guitar Hero. They have an entire game dedicated to them. This game shows the entire history of Aerosmith from the First Days to the Opening Super Bowl concert. Music wise, their songs are quite varied. They can go from blues to some hard core heavy metal.  However, there are some songs that are just plain weird.  A perfect example is “Cat Scratch Fever”.  One of their sweetest song is “Dream On”. “I don’t want to miss a thing”  seems to be Aerosmith’s most popular song.  I heard it in hundreds of movies. They also have tackled the Rap genre. They did “Walk this Way” with Run-D.M.C. and Kid Rock. 

These days it seems Steven Tyler has been thinking of going solo. He has some solo songs already prepared. He is also writing an autobiography called “Does the Noise in My Head Bother You”.  Aerosmith is also producing a new album called “ Music from Another Dimension”. It has been eight years since they produced a new album. It has just 14 songs. They also performed in the American Idol finale. Other than planning new tours, there is nothing else worth mentioning of their current exploits. Regardless, Aerosmith still remains the best selling rock band of all time.  I wish them well in their endeavors. In any case, this band deserves 5 star rating.
