The Forgotten Horror Movie Review 5 stars Worthy

The Forgotten is a horror movie that has been forgotten. For some stupid reason, its gotten a lot of negative reviews. Frankly, I loved this film. It is one of the few movies that I saw on the theater. The movie stars Julianne Moore. In this movie, she plays a mom, named Telly Paretta. This is not an usual role for Julianne Moore. I seen her in a lot of movies acting the role of the overprotective mom. The movie begins with Telly taking her son to the airport. The kid is going on a field trip. On that day, the airplane crashed.




Sometime passes, and Telly is dealing with the accident. In the TV version, the plane crash got changed for a train accident. I think it had something to with the FCCs over sensitivity. They thought the plane crash would remind the viewers of 9/11. Anyhow, originally it was a plane crash for the Forgotten horror movie. Lets move on, after the accident Telly started going to therapy. One day, all evidence of her son's existence disappeared.

When she asked her husband about her son's things, he acted like he never existed. She was freaked out. She then visited her neighbor whose kid was also in the plane. She was shocked to find that he had forgotten his child. After this, she went frantic. She could not believe that all had forgotten about their kids.

She showed her neighbor that she was not crazy when she tore the wallpaper of his kid's room. The previous wallpaper was the decorations of his kids playroom. After this, they both went to the police. As usual, all thought they were crazy. Only one police woman believed them. The rest of the force did not have any memory that there ever was a plane crash.

At a certain point, the police woman goes to them saying that she had all the answers. As she approached them, she was swept into the sky. She disappeared in a most violent and abrupt fashion. I remember that part well in the theater. The way she left surprised a lot of people in the theater. I know cause they yelled a lot.

From then on, the Forgotten movie got weirder and weirder. The ending of the movie is a bit cheesy. I guess it had to do with the bond of a mother and child. Most male critic hate mom movies. They find it revolting to see movies about such a bond. I guess they have , by now, forgotten their bond with their own mothers.  In any case, the Forgotten is a 5 stars worthy movie.
