Pinocchio 5 Stars worthy Disney Movie

Pinocchio is a Disney movie based on a book written by Carlo Collodi. The movie draws in a lot of elements from the Adventures of Pinocchio. Anyhow, the movie begins with Jiminy Cricket opening the book of Pinocchio. Thus, in the movie, Jiminy acts as both the reader and a character from the Pinocchio book. Within the book, Geppetto has just finished a wooden puppet of a boy. He names it Pinocchio.




As he falls asleep, he wishes upon the blue star, Polaris. He wishes for his wooden puppet to become a real boy. When he finally falls asleep, the star becomes the blue fairy. She uses her magic wand to make Pinocchio come to life. If you think about it, Pinocchio is the child of the blue fairy and Geppetto. Kinda like a bizarre magical, immaculate conception.

She tells him that if he wants to become flesh and blood, he must be a good boy by listening to his conscience. Since Pinocchio does not yet know the difference between right and wrong, the Blue fairy assigns Jiminy to act as the boy's conscience. When Geppetto awakens, he is happy to discover that his wish has come true. The next day he sends his Pinocchio to school. The first day that Pinocchio separated from Geppetto, was the start of Pinocchio's problems.

Pinocchio's naivete caused a lot of problems for Geppetto. Heck, he even ended up in the belly of the beast. From the movie, I liked a lot the puppet song that Pinocchio sang at the theater. For being the second, Disney kids film, it came out pretty well. It was quite the heartwarming movie. Truly, Pinocchio is still a 5 stars worthy Disney movie.
