"New" Victoria Frances Photos

Seeing as though you folks like Victoria Frances a lot, I did a lil digging and found a few of Frances' memorable photo shoots. In the first one, Frances is just reclining. The wind motion works pretty well. That's shutter speed for you. 5 stars.

The next one is part of a series of greyish color photos. They are digitally altered to look old. Following the old vampire style, this maiden has blood on her lips. Her expression is really creepy. The books for a background works pretty well. In any case, this photo deserves 5 star.

In this version, Victoria Frances is looking directly at the viewer. The dress has quite the pretty patterns. Her necklace has the portrait of the prettiest Rococo profile. I think the color is more define around her head. 5 stars.

 Victoria Frances fantasy

The next one is Victoria Frances at the cemetery. She is wearing her usual purple goth attire. Even in her artwork, she likes to have this grim forest funerary scenery. It looks cute, 5 stars.

 Frances Victoria photos

In the next photo, Frances is arranged like a dead person. When photography became easy and cheap, it became common for family members to photograph their dead. The reason was that since photography was a brand new thing, most did not get their picture taken until they kicked the bucket. Following this similar arrangement, we have RIP Frances. 5 stars for the pretty maiden.

 Victoria Frances old

This time we have Frances in profile. Photography back then liked to mimic portraiture paintings. It is only later that photos became less stiff. In any case, this "old" photo of Frances deserves 5 stars.

 Victoria Frances nymph

This time Frances is taking the form of a river nymph. It was not too uncommon for river nymph to either drown or curse passenger byes. Like such nymphs, she has the Greek Toga and the Laurel. Laurels is the mark of Apollo. His first lover girl was a nymph that turned into a Laurel tree. Since many nymphs serve either Apollo or his twin Artemis, most nymphs wear Laurel wreath. In any case, this one deserves 5 star rating.

 Victoria Frances Ophelia

In the next photo, Victoria Frances is in playing Ophelia. Ophelia was the crazy sister (or cousin, I forget) of Hamlet. His infamous "To be or not to be " speech was aimed at ordering Ophelia to go to the nuthouse. Long story short, she threw herself out the window and drowned in the river. Many paintings of Ophelia depict her as shown above.  For this witty, photo Frances deserves 5 stars.

 Victoria Frances nymph

The next one is a closeup of Victoria Frances. I do not see any odd or obscure references. Her face looks in turmoil. I think her arm has a cut... aside from that nothing else needs to be said.

 Victoria Frances nymph

The next one is a birds eye perspective of nymph Frances. In one photo, she is looking down and the other she is looking at the viewer. They go together in a sequence. The photos are not half bad. I can see that they where aimed at playing with the folds of Frances dress. A lot of the surroundings are in focus... I think that's everything! 5 stars for this photo of Victoria Frances.

 Victoria Frances Patino

I think Frances is the maiden at the center. Its hard to tell with so many colorful characters in this photo. They are all arranged like personages of a cabaret (or old western bar). This idea is further enhanced by the guy with a prison top. He has a mug of booze. Its also a funny play with the whole "mugshot" concept. In any case, that Patino (is that what the lil writing says) deserves 5 stars for his photo of Victoria Frances.

 Victoria Frances cabaret

This time Victoria Frances is the figure in blue. I know cause I seen her in this costume in other photos. The guy in  the center pulls at Frances blue lace. Thus, even though she is not at the center, the artist using this motion points to the main character.

For some reason, artistic photographers hate centralized images. The main character is always at the side, or in an odd angle. Following this similar schematic, Victoria Frances is toward a corner. All the odd characters have different posses to avoid a "stiff" feel. In any case, this lovely photo deserves 5 star rating.

 Victoria Frances photos

The next one is Frances and a guy dressed like a clown. The clown costume is similar to the one of that odd clown from an opera (whose name alludes me). You know... he starts singing loudly and then ends up crying at the end of the song. Ah!!! I forget!! Well, the reference is very popular among those who still like the opera

Anyhow, Frances also has a white horsey. Horses are a popular visual symbol of masculinity. They are used to show male virility and desire. You know, like nude Lady Godiva on top of her white horse? In any case, 5 stars for the creepy couple.

 art Victoria Frances

This time Frances is cuddling with a black kitten. Black cats are part of the goth culture. I think clowns are popular too. So here we have both. Its interesting the red fall leaf decoration. Fall is a very important time for witches, demons ect. Most of the witch festivals take place during this time. This is the time when things begin to die. Also, its an equinox period. The powers of light and darkness are in perfect balance. In any case, this photo deserves 5 stars.

Ah... A field of dead sunflowers. How lovely! It works pretty well considering the cloudy surroundings. The big pink heart balloon adds a bit of color to this grim surroundings. I don't really get it, but whatever. 5 star for Victoria Frances the clown.

 Victoria Frances clown

Something about Frances' clown companion reminds me of the puritans. Its neat their "looking at the horizon in an epic fashion" gaze. Frances, however, has her gaze on her companion. Their pose combined with the heart marks them as lover. This strange gothic romance deserves 5 star rating.

 Victoria Frances photos

If you look closely in the golden relief of the corset and the hat you can see cover of "The Misty Circus". This was one of the Frances children's books dark collection. I think here she is posing as one of the circus troops. Its nice the contrast between the colorful Frances and the dark background. In any case, she deserves 5 star rating.

That pig barbie doll is really bizarre...5 stars.

You know, I was never a big fan of fake backgrounds. I always like real nature. Eh... but whatever. At least, Frances costume looks pretty cute. 5 stars for this cutie.

 Victoria Frances photographs

This pose works pretty well cause it emphasizes Victoria Frances' cute long legs. Her cabaret attire is really pretty. She is a rare combination of a model and an artist. This multi - talented maiden deserves 5 star rating.

 Victoria Frances Periot

The next one has Victoria Frances dressed as Periot. This is a typical character name for a French clown or circus person. I think Periot is from her Misty Circus. In any case, here she is trapped behind bars like a circus attraction. Back then, it was not too uncommon for circus folk to threat their kind like animals. A perfect example, shows up in the flashback of the Opera Ghost. You remember? He was beaten up for being the son of the devil. Following this similar schematic, Frances is behind bars. In any case, this lovely photo deserves 5 stars.

 Victoria Frances Periot

This one is really freaky. I can't tell much about the background. Perhaps Periot is behind a  different cage. You know, its rare for artist to cosplay their own characters... Eh, whatever, 5 stars for Frances.

 Frances Periot photo

Now this one I like a lot because of the motion. After taking photography class, I have learned that photos as such have a huge margin of error. Its hard to focus on a still object in the mid ground when the foreground and background are in constant flux. For this brilliantly performed photo, Frances' photographer deserves 5 star rating.

 Victoria Frances Periot

This one is simple enough. As for the hand in the center, it implies the existence of a hole. This last naughty but defiant photo deserves 5 stars. I hope that you liked these "new" photos of Victoria Frances. They are not new per say, but they are new to phi stars. So, Goodnight and have fun.

  1. Beautiful pictures. But I think the person in the first photo is *not* Victoria Frances!
I found it here before I saw this, and it says that it's an hommage to VF:

Also, if you give every photo 5 stars, couldn't you just have mentioned it once? Otherwise very nice work ^^
