Luis Royo's Secret is... 5 star Worthy
When I say "secret", I don't literary mean secret, secret. No, I am referring to the last featured collection of Luis Royo. They are roughly around 15 pictures (give or take). Many I omitted cause they showed up in either dreams or other Royo featured. I think he recycles a lot of his work in other albums. Eh... whatever. Basically, this one has a lot of creepy monsters and hot chicks. I guess that was pretty obvious considering how much of his stuff you seen so far.
In any case, the first one is a weird snake ritual. The main girl has just removed a fine black cloak with a hissing snake face. Around the stairs, I see some pythons... I think they are pythons. As you go further up the stairs you see more snakes. The mouth of the death statue is throwing a strange white vapor. Our eye naturally fall
The next one we can see a pretty archer maiden. Her form is reflected on the water. She is hunting for big game. If you look closely you can see some imps creepy in the background. They are sorta blending into the dead woods. The scenery is very creepy. She seems to be emitting a strange sort of light. This Secret of Royo deserves 5 star rating.
Now this is a very pretty picture. What I like best is the way this maiden is holding up her head. The way her hair flows is quite lovely. Now as for the beast, its hideous! You can see her skirt stained with its blood. I think she has a cute skinny lil dragon tattoo. The contrast between the girl and the monster works pretty well. Truly, another 5 star worthy secret of Royo.
His slave maidens are a common theme of Royo's work. This one is looking out the window. Toward freedom, I suppose. Her master has arrived and he is pulling on her collard. Its strange the glow sweeping over her. 5 stars for this cutie.
Bat Girl!! 5 stars.
The next Secret shows a witch putting her hands inside the blue flame. The background is rather close. It gives an intimate, secretive feel to her rite. This work gives one the impression that both the girl and the relief are staring at us...5 stars for this creepy picture.
The next one shows a redhead surrounded by a creepy bat demon. Only she is addressing the viewer. The monster seems more focused on the reflection on the mirror (which emanates the only source of light). Aside, from the cozy hidden secretive forest field there is nothing else to be said of this piece. 5 stars.
Another strong female warrior. Her blade is tainted in blood. The leather and the chain mail looks quite realistic. 5 stars.
This has the feel of a vampire city. There is a strange mist around this place. The bats are the only things that acknowledge the viewer. I rather much like the creepy vampire statue. Aside from those things, we have a cutie. Once again Royo created a secretive environment. This is a place that no mortal should thread... kukuku (or creepy laugh)... 5 stars.
Ah...ew!! A Roach Queen!! They are all over the place!!!
Now this is a cute picture. I think this is the finished work of the ugly mage and the cutie. This one is much better than the initial sketch. Is this thing a robot...a creep? You know its funny, this girl looks as the most beautiful maiden of all thanks to this thing's ugliness. I doubt she would call so much attention without that thing nearby. In any case, this contraposto work deserves 5 star.
Isn't this romantic? The maiden was gonna rob the knight. Instead, their gazes met and both have fallen in love. I think I see the castle in the background. Behind the knight, the thief's partners are approaching. In any case, this lot deserves 5 star rating.
Another classical reference. Behind this maiden is a fragment of Michelangelo's " The Last Judgement". The two main figures are Jesus and his mother. Jesus has suspended his mother's mercy in order to judge mankind. One hand is toward the heavens, the other toward hell. There is a "Power" Graffiti on Jesus. That fragment goes pretty well with the post apocalyptic scenery. I guess the maiden is in the middle of the war with the anti Christ. If you notice, the maiden is armed for war. She even has a fancy lance. In any case, this Secret deserves 5 star rating.
Woah!! This picture is screaming "Testosterone". This guy is manliness among en. He has the end of a spear stuck to his leg and shoulder. Yet, he has enough energy to make another kill. look at the blood slash flowing in the wind. This is truly epic. 5 stars.
The last one is an blue incubus. He looks super scary rising ominously out of the water. Super scary!!! 5 stars. I hope that you like these featured Luis Royo pictures. Tata and Goodnight.
