New Henry Fuseli Romanticism Paintings
Today, I wanted to feature some Henry Fuseli Paintings. I hope you like them a lot. The first painting shows Romeo at Juliet's Deathbed. You remember, he thought that Juliet was dead. He did not get the info that she was faking her death to be with him. Anyhow, the way he is looking at her is very pretty. The only source of light falls directly on the couple. You can sorta half see the rest of the crypt. Truly, this Shakespearean scene deserves 5 stars rating.
This painting shows a scene from the Iliad. When Patroclus died, Achilles was too preoccupied with revenge. He had not buried him. One night, Patroclus's shade came to Achilles. He asked Achilles not for revenge, but for a proper burial. He was tired of wondering the world. In his sleep, Achilles tried to embrace Patroclus, but his shade faded away. Here we see how strongly Achilles loved his Patroclus. In the background, we see the sunrise. Above Patroclus, we see the moon. He is now one of the children of the night. As for a Achilles, he still belongs to the world of the living. Truly, this painting of Henry Fuseli deserves 5 stars rating.
In this painting, we see a maiden dancing. Around her, we see other interesting creatures and a flyer to boot. I am not familiar with the story being depicted in this painting. Still, this is a 5 stars worthy dark, creepy painting.
Belindas Traum is another one of those German fairy story paintings of Henry Fuseli. Thinking about it, this one is part of those nightmare themed paintings. A maiden is dreaming and we see her dreams all about. The main nightmare is pointing at her. Overall, this painting is really creepy and 5 stars worthy.
Here is another one of those dreamy paintings. The entire painting is dominated by the Fairy Queen. She is giving inspiration to the sleeping author. Behind her we see another fairy. She is also holding onto a little kid in a maternal fashion. Truly, this pretty painting of Henri Fuseli is 5 stars worthy.
This painting features Tekemessa and Eurysakes. In this scene, the son is going to see his mother Tekemessa. She is currently covering the body of Ajax. She does not want her son to see that his father committed suicide. She wants to spare her infant son the sight of his dead father. This painting is truly wonderful. The mother looks most tragic. Truly, this painting of Fuseli deserves 5 stars rating.
In this painting, we see "Theodore Meets in the Wood the Spectre of His Ancestor Guido". I think this painting is from a Shakespeare play. The guy to the left is Theodore. His ancestor is the guy riding the horse. It seems that Guido is hunting the spirit of that guy getting attacked by his dogs. Overall, this 5 stars worthy painting is pretty dark and creepy. I hope that you liked these feature paintings a lot.
