Henri Fuseli Lovely Romanticism Paintings

 I have already introduced Henri Fuseli. It has been years since I last rated Fuseli. Anyhow, the first painting its called Percival Delivering Belisane from the Enchantments of Urma. I really do not know this story. Its one of those obscure references that is hard to look up on the internet. Regardless, here we see the young man Percival about to kill the mage. With his other hand, he is holding his maiden protectively. As for the maiden in distress, she is holding onto her lover boy. In the background, we see some odd faces looking on. Its cool how the mage, uses his chains to cast his magic. In any case, this Romanticism painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is called Titania Bottom. Titania is a fairy maiden from the Midsummer night Dream play of Shakespear. She is is currently fighting with her husband over the ownership of a Indian boy. You can see him in the palm of Oberon's hand. Around them, we see the rest of the fairy creatures of the Forest. It was this argument that sparked, the problem of the Midsummer Night Dream. In any case, this pretty bizarre Henri Fuseli painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This next Fuseli painting features Cupid and Psyche. You guys already know about this pair of lovers. Here Cupid has just rescued Pyshce after she opened her box. Yeah, its never a good idea for maidens to open boxes. Psyche's limp body came out looking really pretty. In any case, this wonderful Fuseli painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting  features Fairy Mab. She appear in Romeo and Juliet. She acts as a midwife and is said to drive people mad. She is also responsible for the common sensual diseases of Shakespeare's time. Here she is among her fairy minions. They are tainting everything they touch. I love her hilarious looking face. In any case, this lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting shows Sin Pursued by Dead. Its a scene from Paradise Lost. Here sin is represented by a woman with the key that unlocks hell. Behind her, Death is embracing her. This painting shows that sin may look glamorous. However, Sin can never scape death. That is why in this painting Death caught Sin from behind. Mostly, because death surprises you like a shadow. Its his way. In any case, this hot romantic painting of Fuseli deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting shows the creation of Eve. One can loosely see paradise. Eve came out of Adam's ribs. At the moment of her birth, she was praying to God. I like the anatomy a lot. The way their body flows is pretty neat. Truly, this lovely romanticism painting of Henri Fuseli deserves 5 stars rating.  

This next painting is pretty simple. Its from a scene of Macbeth. Here we see the witches and Macbeth's vision of the head wearing an armor. The scene and the expression of the witches is really creepy. I like how the cauldron shows the ingredients floating about. In any case, this pretty odd painting deserves 5 stars rating.

 This painting shows a scene from King Lear of Shakespeare.  This scene is taken from the start of the play. Basically, King Lear wanted to retire. He wanted to leave his kingdom to his three daughters. Those that loved him the best would get the biggest share. The oldest daughters answering him with flattering words. The youngest daughter said she loved her father so much that she could not put it into words. King Lear was not amused. Thus, he banished the only daughter that truly loved him. Here on the left, we see the poor girl being banished. By Lear Kent is telling him the he should not have rewarded the flattery of his elder daughters. It was obvious who was truly in love with him. On the left, we see the two bad daughters. Truly, this pretty painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is from Shakespeare's Henry VIII. In this play, Katherine is suffering from an illness. She asks the musicians to play her some music to help her sleep. In the background, we see a guy playing the piano. In the bed, rests Katherine, beside Katherine we see her maid. When she heard the sad music, she saw a vision of dancing maidens. Truly, this pretty painting of Henri Fuseli deserves 5 stars rating.

The last Painting is from Paradise lost. Here Satan is running away after being touched by the lance. Between them, we see Sin and Death. This is one really eerie painting.
