Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai! New Magical Romance Anime Show Review

Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai! is an interesting high school romance anime show. The title of the anime show Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai! means She Has Adolescent Delusions, But I Want to Love Her! It was written by Torako. The storyline is a bit bizarre and it does not seem to make sense. In the surface, it is a magic anime show that includes demon style contracts. The main character is Yuuta Togashi. Back in middle school, Yuuta used to suffer from Chuunibyo or Adolescent Delusions. When he graduated he tried to put that dark past behind him. In high school he meets his old friend Satone Shichimiya (aka Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII) . When Yuuta was cured from the Chuunibyo syndrome he forgot all the stupid things he did and the people attached to those events.



When he saw Satone again, all those feelings and emotions came rushing back. In order to help his friend, Yuuta makes a contract with Rikka Takanashi. With her Chuunibyo powers, Yuuta hopes to save Satone from her Chuunibyo. For those that speak Japanese, this anime show plays a lot with their perspective. The thing is that the magical powers from Chuunibyo syndrome is a metaphor for teenage rebellion. When you are a teenager you go out of your way to create an a new identity. We all suffered from Chuunibyo syndrome at some point of our lives. The magical powers is simply an exaggeration of those emotions. In any case, this strange magical anime show Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!deserves 5 star rating. Phi Stars recommends it to all teenagers suffering from the Chuunibyo syndrome. Hehehehe.
