Zetsuen no Tempest Second Anime Show Review
Zetsuen no Tempest was like everything that I imagine. It was totally awesome. The first episode begins with Hakaze being stranded on an Island. Like Napoleon, Hakaze was supposed to have died in an abandon island. In that island, she lacked the materials to cast magic.Plus, the island was made invisible to others via magic. No one would be able to find Hakaze. However, she made a wooden idol and sent it in a bottle. Mahiro found the idol and got in communication with Hakaze. Mahiro made a contract with Hakaze to find his sister's killer.
How it happened was that his sister was attack at night. The thieves where never caught. He found her dead sitting peacefully in a chair. A trail of blood led to the poor girl. Like Mahiro said, his sister was so beautiful. Our main character is Mahiro's pal Yoshino. He was in love with Mahiro's sister. One day, he visited her graveyard when a random woman started interrogating him. She spoke of Mahiro's sudden magical powers. She almost shot him when Mahiro rescued Yoshino. They had a pretty cool magical fight. Bullets vs magic.
When things settled down, Mahiro told him of the witch Hakaze. A strange snow fall and golden butterflies began to appear. Those butterflies do not show up during the winter. It was a clear cut sign that something was off. The people in town started to turn to metal. This was the first manifestation that the world was getting out of whack because of the awakening ritual. Hakaze's clan was awakening the Zetsuen tree to take over the world.
What I liked best was the way the ritual was performed. They chanted while wielding chains. As this occurred, a fruit appeared in Mahiro's hometown. It was held by chains. As it broke it revealed a strange eye. The eye is the symbol of magic. I thought it was pretty cool. It was pretty exiting if you ask me. Phi Stars recommends this anime show to all you chibis. It is one of the few magical anime shows that I actually like. Truly, Zetsuen no Tempest deserves 5 stars rating.
