Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai! Second Anime Review

Today, I watched episode 1 and 2 of Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!. The way the syndrome manifested was hilarious. From an outside view, those suffering from Chuunibyo acted like a crazed weirdo. Yuuta has decided to put the whole Chuunibyo behind. He even changed schools to avoid those who had seen him acting like a fool. The pity is that deep down he still half believes in his crazy magical world. This was seen in his reactions to Rikka's odd behavior.



Like the time when he saw Rikka pretending to open the train door using magic. However, the train door opened automatically. He was mesmerized by the girl that he forgot to get in. Also, at night he thought Rikka had disappeared in an epic fashion. However, she had just kept going down the rope. The other maiden Satone has yet to be introduced. However, Rikka predicted that when she awoke to her awesome powers she would be even stronger than herself.

However, the creme de la creme of all their jokes was when Rikka showed her Clairvoyant eye. It really did glow golden. However, it was just an eye contact. Overall, it seems that Rikka is totally out of her mind. However, Yuuta felt bad for her. He wanted to throw away the things from his old life. When Rikka saw him, she gave him the poppy eye so he gave one of his old lines. He placed his old things back home. She then felt better about it.

Well, when Yuuta saw Rikka's eye they forged a contract. The anime show has yet to state its implications. The episode ended really nice. However, I am not too certain about the second episode. It only lasted like 3 minutes. Maybe it was a preview, maybe it was not. Basically, Yuuta was talking to her older sister. She was saying that her bandages contained a Harbinger of Death. As she got more bandages, she "sealed" more bad guys. Eventually, she got in trouble with the nurse for stealing the bandages. Later came a cheesy song, sang by Yuuta's chibi form. I wonder... was it a preview or an episode. It better not have been an episode!! In any case, Chuunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai! still deserves 5 stars rating. It was even better the second time around.
